Happy New Year my lovelies, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. I was just as busy as ever in the kitchen, the only difference was it was turkey and mince pies in the oven rather than cake - oh and I did have a glass of Prosecco in hand while I cooked which made a nice change from the endless cups of tea I usually drink while I’m working!!
I also managed to squeeze in two christmas weddings on the 29th, which Was lovely to be part of their special day!
Christmas is such a lovely time but I have to say I’m secretly slightly relieved when it’s over (surely I’m not the only one?!), I love looking ahead and planning and somehow the New Year always fills me with ideas and inspiration.
Congratulations to all the couples who’ve recently got engaged, I’m sure many of you said ‘yes’ over the last week or so! I always have a sudden flurry of newly engaged couples calling in January so if you’ve already set a date and you’d like me to bake your cake then please get in touch as soon as you can. I do hate saying no but it’s only the 2nd of January and my 2018 diary is already looking rather full - I even have some very organised brides who’ve already booked dates for 2019 &2020!
